They were very happy to see us and happier still to go hiking again. Maggie is so funny and Keeda takes 30 steps to Maggies' one. Keeda makes me tired just watching her but she is such a happy little dog!

We are so glad she is our---er-r-r Maggie's dog! I don't know how many of you remember the "cat" photo that seemed doomed to stay in our camera until the end of time, but here she is again. This is Jordan and Braedon's kitty-kitty and as you can see, is still quite a poser! This was such a hilarious position and she was completely asleep---sound asleep on the patio just outside the door. I couldn't resist snapping a couple! What a crack-up! Although to those of us who have and love cats, this is pretty normal. The Lee cats consist of this siamese tabby and a black and white one that looks a lot like our Lizard-kitty!
We also stopped in Kingman, AZ as we came home and visited with Kellie, her husband, Charles and two of their fur kids. The beautiful white girl with black markings is Sadie, a borzoi/Scottish Deerhound cross. And most of you may remember Chester who is our eldest grand-dog. He is still an active, nosy boy even at 10 years of age. His muzzle is white and his eyes are not as clear as they once were but he is like the energizer rabbit!
Braedon and Jordan loved the gulls along Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. They ran through them several times and it seemed that the gulls knew they meant no harm because they flew right along with the boys.
And imagine this: Paul and Scott opted out of "yard sale-ing" with Jessica and me and instead chose to take Jordan and Braedon to the American River. Here is Jordan testing the water.
It was a great visit and over too soon but that is how it always is when we visit our grandchildren and children.
Hopefully we only stay long enough to visit and not wear out our welcome...
I cannot imagine life without our children. And even though Paul and I live a frenetic, even crazed life at times, we talk of our family often and always hold each one close in our heart.
